Claude Motion Graphics: Animation Built as Code
Every piece starts from a Motion template and is rendered as code, so it behaves like a short video yet remains editable word by word.
- Rendered From Code, Not FilmedYour text, charts, shapes and images move because Claude writes code for them — no stock footage, no invented people, nothing to fact-check.
- Saved to Artifacts AutomaticallyEvery piece you make is filed in the Artifacts tab, so you can return later, keep polishing it, or hand it over to someone else.
- Change One Detail, Keep the RestSwap a single word, a figure, or a beat of timing and every other scene stays precisely where you left it.
How Claude Motion Graphics Come Together
A short written brief, a template, and one round of tweaks are all it takes to reach a file you can export or share.
Capabilities Inside Claude Motion Graphics
Here is the full picture, from feeding in your own material to deciding who gets to watch the finished result.
Built On Your Material
Upload the report, dataset or visuals you already have, then state the audience, the venue and a rough runtime for a sharper outcome.
Tweaks Through Conversation
Request a slower second scene or a corrected Q3 number and it gets swapped in — no need to regenerate the entire piece.
Hands-On Editor Access
Rather nudge elements into place yourself? The editor lets you adjust every scene without writing a single instruction.
One-Click MP4 Export
Hit Export, choose MP4, and the file is yours for an all-hands, a board deck or a customer onboarding sequence.
Private by Default
New work stays visible to you alone until you open it and press Share, which can also push it out across your whole organization.
Plan and Admin Governance
Available in beta for Team and Enterprise, it is enabled by an Owner under Organization settings > Artifacts, and custom roles can cap it for specific groups.
Claude Motion Graphics: Questions Answered
Straight answers on plan access, editing, downloads, and how much each piece counts against your limits.
Which plans include this, and is it switched on already?
Team and Enterprise get it in beta. Team has it enabled out of the box, while Enterprise stays off until an Owner turns it on under Organization settings > Artifacts.
Will it produce live-action footage or human characters?
No. There is no video generation model behind it, so you will never get filmed scenes or actors — only text, charts, shapes and images moved by code.
Can a single word, figure or timing cue be changed without a rebuild?
Yes. Because the whole piece is code, one detail can be replaced while every other scene keeps its original position.
What are the options for saving or sending the final piece?
Use Export and select MP4 for a local file, or open the piece and press Share to circulate it — until then, only you can see it.
How much does it count against my usage limit?
Every animation counts toward your plan allowance just like other work, and a long or detailed scene consumes more than an ordinary message.
Can admins restrict access or decide who gets human support?
Owners switch it on or off under Organization settings > Artifacts and can limit it to certain groups; Enterprise admins may also designate support contacts who decide which members reach a human.
Create Your First Claude Motion Graphics Scene
Open a chat or the Artifacts tab, pick a Motion template and describe what should move — an Owner may need to enable the feature first.
